I’m Dan Woollard, a fantasy artist from Wiltshire, near the ancient stones of Stonehenge.

I have been painting for over 20 years. My creative journey began with pencil drawing, spending countless hours sketching detailed worlds and letting my imagination run wild.

Everything changed after a visit to The New Forest in Burley, Hampshire, where I discovered the work of fantasy artist Josephine Wall. After purchasing one of her portfolio books, something clicked instantly — on the journey home I realised this was what I wanted to dedicate my life to creating.

From that moment, I picked up a paintbrush and never looked back.

My work is deeply inspired by nature, dreams and the mysteries of the universe.. Through vibrant colour, immersive landscapes and glowing UV-reactive details, I aim to create paintings that feel alive — worlds that people can emotionally connect with and escape into.

Each piece is created as a journey beyond ordinary reality — a doorway into imagination, wonder and timeless emotion.
